Life demands more of our eyes which can be especially troubling for presbyopes who are already experiencing a loss of accommodation, reduced tear film stability, along with increased light scatter. Your presbyopic patients demand more from their contact lenses.

Introducing the multifocal contact lens your presbyopic patients have been waiting for - crisp and clear vision at all distances and lighting conditions±1 - plus all day comfort.#1

## Analysis involving one clinical study (n=35)

^ Filtering of HEV light by contact lenses has not been demonstrated to confer any systemic and/or ocular health benefit to the user. The Eye Care Professional should be consulted for more information.

†† Versus publicly available information for standard daily use contact lenses as of December 2023.

† Compared to competitor’s designs, technology optimized for both the parameters of refractive error and add power.

§ Versus DAILIES Total 1®, MyDay® and ULTRA® ONE DAY. Also significantly less than ACUVUE® OASYS 1-Day.

§§ Descriptive data from 4 clinical studies.

** All ACUVUE® contact lenses have Class 1 or Class 2 UV-blocking to help provide protection against transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into the eye. UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. UV transmission measured with -1.00 lens.

Fit Guide
1. Determine max plus/min. minus spherical refraction
  • Perform a new subjective refraction° then remove cylindrical power and determine best distance VA with the least minus spherical refraction°°.
2. Determine the sensory dominant eye
  • +1.00 blur test recommended rather than sighting methods
3. Determine the lowest ADD based upon the patient's needs
  • With the distance spherical refraction in place, determine the lowest functional reading ADD
Top Tip: Regardless of age, start to explore if LOW ADD (+1.25) matches the patient near vision need, and if necessay increase ADD steps until required near vision is achieved.

If your patient still has specific near or distance need, refer to the enhancement tables.
